Wilding is September Youth Optimist at PRMS

Eighth grader Andrew Wilding has been named September Youth Optimist at Prairie River Middle School. He was nominated by Mrs. Rindt who said: “Andrew always comes to class with a positive attitude and is ready to learn each day. He participates in class activities and discussions, asks questions, and demonstrates a good work ethic. He is always willing to share his ideas with the class. Andrew is kind, thoughtful, and helpful to others. He displays integrity and will choose to do what is right. He is a well-rounded student who exhibits good citizenship qualities and is a great role model to others.” Andrew plays golf and has been part of a bowling league since third grade. He also has taken on the role as a WEB (Where Everybody Belongs) Leader this year. He enjoys singing and being a part of choir. Andrew also participates in 4-H. During his time in 4-H, he has helped out in the community by cleaning up the highway and being a part of “Make a Difference Day.”
