Rebecca J. ‘Becky’ Skrzypchak

Rebecca J. ‘Becky’ Skrzypchak, 73, of Wausau, passed away on Friday, November 26, 2021, at Aspirus Wausau Hospital.  Becky was born December 20, 1947, in Merrill daughter of the late Ellsworth and Jayne Annis, Jr. She married Gary Skrzypchak on December 9, 1995. He survives. Becky’s career was always filled with the love she had for her co-workers. She worked at National Foods in Rhinelander, then People’s State Bank and Brokaw Credit Union. Most recently Becky worked at Menards, where the garden center was her absolute favorite post. The matriarch of her family, Becky was filled with energy and love for everyone around her, known as a caregiver to dozens. Becky enjoyed decorating for all the holidays, especially Christmas. She was her absolute happiest when she was helping others.

Becky is survived by her husband, Gary Skrzypchak of Wausau; three daughters, Amy (Willie) Day of Las Vegas, Nevada, Shannon Krause of Medford, and Amanda Skrzypchak (husband, Ryan Frizzell) of Denver, Colorado; one son, Chad Krause of Wausau; her grandchildren, Ricky, Danille, Gregory, Jr., Willow, Stacy, Zachery, and twin girls on the way; 16 great grandchildren; five sisters, Rhonda (Tom) Karau of Florida, Michele Cubba of West Bend, Robin (Steve) Nielsen of Utah, Tammy Annis of Wausau, and Tia (Myron) Myers of Merrill; three brothers, Dennis (Donna) Annis of Rhinelander, and Todd (Joy) Annis and Scott (Kaye) Annis both of Merrill; and a sister in law, Sandy Annis of Merrill. Besides her parents, Becky is preceded in death by her infant son, Jesse Lee Krause, and two siblings, Randy Annis and Kathleen Mann.

The Funeral will be at 11:00 AM Thursday, December 2, 2021, at Trinity Lutheran Church, Merrill. The Rev. Adam Rodriquez will officiate. Burial will take place in Merrill Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM Wednesday at the Taylor-Stine Funeral Home, Merrill, and again after 9:30 AM Thursday at the church.
