Geraldine T. Weisenberger

Geraldine T. Weisenberger, 88, of Stevens Point, formerly of Merrill, passed away on Wednesday, November 17, 2021, at Willowbrooke Senior Living in Stevens Point.  Geraldine was born on July 14, 1933, in Colby, daughter of the late Andrew and Francis (Gribowski) Schilling. She married Thomas ‘Tom’ Weisenberger on August 8, 1951, in Wausau, Wisconsin. He preceded her in death on December 1, 2011.Geraldine was a seamstress for many years, she worked at Thelma’s in alterations and had her own business, ‘Gerri’s Alterations’. In addition to this, she also made clothing for her children and grandchildren.

Survivors include her daughter, Pamela Sillars of Connecticut; her son, Jeff (Brenda) Weisenberger of Brokaw; four grandchildren, Eric Sillars of Eau Claire, Dawn Sillars of Connecticut, Troy (Stephanie) Weisenberger of Wausau, and Jody (Julie Christiansen) Weisenberger of Mosinee; two great-grandchildren, Breana Weisenberger and Ryan Weisenberger both of Wausau; and brother, Chester (Paulette) Schilling.  Geraldine was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas ‘Tom’ Weisenberger; parents, Andrew and Francis Schilling; and siblings, Carol (Maurice) Normand, Beverly (Joseph) Biard, Jane Rodemeier, Rita Weaver, Mae Zastrow, Opal Schilling, Ruth Ann Schilling, Lanora Schilling, Hazel Schilling, Stan Schilling, Robert Schilling, and Terry Schilling.

A graveside service for Geraldine will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, December 7, 2021, at Merrill Memorial Park Cemetery.  Taylor-Stine Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Merrill, is assisting the family.  Online condolences may be made at www.taylorstinefuneralhome.com
