Aspirus Community Presentation: What is AFib and Why Does it Matter?

WAUSAU, Wis.– Atrial fibrillation (AFib) is a serious heart condition that causes your heart to beat irregularly. Unfortunately, many people who have AFib don’t even know it.

Aspirus Heart Care physicians, Dr. John Johnkoski and Dr. Kevin Rist, will describe AFib symptoms and risks and share steps you can take to decrease an AFib related stroke. There will time at the conclusion of the presentation for questions.
Attendance is free, but masking is required, and attendees need to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19.

The program will be held Wednesday, Nov. 10, 2021, from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at The Landing, 707 Third St., Wausau.
