09-27-2021
At 11:06 a.m. a citizen found a wallet and turned it in. The officer was able to determine the owner and returned the wallet.
At 1:28 p.m. a caller reported a male and female yelling at one another in a parking lot. The male fled after seeing officers but was located shortly thereafter. He was found to be on probation and was arrested for a probation violation. The argument was found to be verbal only, and the female was released from the scene.
At 2:43 p.m. a caller reported the theft of a gaming system. A possible suspect is known and investigation continues.
At 4:18 p.m. a male was arrested for a probation violation at the request of the Wisconsin Department of Corrections.

At 2:12 p.m. a male was arrested for a probation violation at the request of the Wisconsin Department of Corrections.
At 6:40 p.m. a caller reported finding a syringe near a park. An officer collected the syringe and properly disposed of it.

09-29-2021
At 16:51 p.m. officers arrested a female party on a failure to appear warrant through Lincoln County.
At 8:15 p.m. an officer conducted a traffic stop near the Merrill High school on N. Memorial Dr. and E. 10th St. The driver was cited for disorderly conduct of a motor vehicle.

09-30-2021
At 4:08 p.m. officers responded to the Probation and Parole Office to take a male party into custody for a probation violation. The male was arrested and transported to the jail.
At 8:36 p.m. an officer responded to a residence for a theft report in reference to two children’s bikes being stolen from the E. Main St. area. The investigation is ongoing.

10-01-2021
At 8:41 a.m. a business requested assistance with an employee they believed was under the influence. The employee admitted to drug use the previous night. The officer provided him a ride home.
At 9:01 a.m. a male was arrested for a probation violation at the request of the Wisconsin Department of Corrections.
At 1:03 p.m. a caller reported his fiancé was throwing things around their apartment. It was found the two had been arguing and the male pushed the female at one poin,t causing minor injury to her arm. The male was arrested for domestic battery and disorderly conduct.
At 5:56 p.m. a male reported losing his gray fishing pole. Officers checked the location he had been fishing and were unable to locate it.

10-02-2021
At 5:41 p.m. a caller reported someone had stolen an ATV from her yard sometime since the previous day. An hour later, the abandoned ATV was located just north of the city by a deputy. Investigation continues into who stole it and abandoned it there.

10-03-2021
At 10:32 a.m. a caller reported he had video showing a neighbor cutting a cable near the property line. The cable is believed to be from Spectrum. The officer will follow up with Spectrum and the neighbor.
At 2:21 p.m. a caller reported finding a debit card at a convenience store. The owner was located and the card returned.
At 6:36 p.m. a caller reported observing a male outside of a residence that the caller knew had a restraining order against him, prohibiting contact at the residence. The restraining order, as well as an open bond, also prohibiting contact at the residence, were confirmed. Officers made contact with the man who was then arrested for bail jumping and violation of restraining order.
At 8:18 p.m. a caller reported finding suspected drug paraphernalia in his apartment as he was cleaning it. The items were properly disposed of.
