Apple orchard play area is vandalized
In a mid-September Facebook post, Helen’s Hilltop Orchard just south of Merrill said they had become the victim of vandalism on their property. “In the past two days, we have found many items in our Barnyard Play Area vandalized and destroyed. Stolen basketballs, destroyed brand new yard games, stabbed bouncy balls, and a destroyed pedal track are just a few of the areas the vandal has left their mark on,” the post said.
Their post further called upon the vandals to “please step forward and assist in the clean up and rebuilding of these activities along with us.”
“Your actions not only impact our business, but take away fun experiences from the families who visit us.”
“Come forward. It’s the right thing to do,” the post concluded.
