River Country Co-op, whose corporate offices are in Chippewa Falls and Owen, Wis., announces its new CENEX C-store is set to open on Center Street in Merrill, across from Breaman Ford. This facility replaces the previous facility which was on the same location for many years and is now more easily accessible and expanded.
This newly built convenience store will remain the CENEX brand, joining a network of more than 1,400 locations across 19 states. The CENEX family prides itself on bringing personal service, superior products, and commitment to communities large and small, since 1929.
With the newly constructed store, River Country Co-op is excited to expand and add products to this location, including Hot Stuff Pizza and Subs, local meats and cheeses, a walk-in beer cave, and a larger selection of groceries and novelties. Their expanded deli selection and coffee bar is designed for people on the go, and with their new live bait station, they are hoping to be a one-stop shop.
A Grand Opening event will be held on Wednesday, August 25, 2021, from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. and will include full-service pump and windshield washes by Cooperative board members and senior management, plus free brats and pizza to rewards cards members, door prizes, free samples, and balloons for the kids.
