“Fore the Road” will include the Vic Ferrari Band in concert, chance to win a new car

The Wisconsin Automotive and Truck Education Association (WATEA), a central Wisconsin non-profit formed to support education and development of careers in the automotive industry [from parts sales person to diesel mechanic, auto mechanic, autobody, and everything in between] is holding a fundraiser they’re calling “Fore the Road” on Friday, July 30, 2021, at the Greenwood Hills Country Club in Wausau.
For those who enjoy golfing, their annual charity golf tournament will kick off with 9:30 a.m. registration and an 11:00 a.m. tee-off time, and a day of golfing.
For non-golfers and music lovers, the main event will be the Vic Ferrari Band in concert, under a tent on the Greenwood Hills grounds. Tickets for the reception/concert are $35 in advance/$40 the day of the event and will include complimentary wine, beer, soda, and “heavy hors d’oeuvres” from 5:00-7:00 p.m. along with raffles and drawings, entry into a drawing for $1,000 cash, the Vic Ferrari concert from 7:00-10:00 p.m., and a professional fireworks display at dusk.
A second $100 ticket option includes everything the $35 ticket covers, plus the chance to win a new vehicle!
“Someone will win a new vehicle that night,” said WATEA Co-Chair, Jerry Brickner. “We will have multiple vehicles there. Kocourek, Fred Mueller’s, Toyota of Wausau, O’Malleys, Wheelers, and the Brickner Family are all planning to have a vehicle there. And the winner can pick the vehicle they want that night.” The value of the vehicle award is up to $25,000. Only 450 of the $100 “someone will win a new vehicle” tickets will be sold.
