The Merrill Area Farmers Market is in full swing each Wednesday and Saturday morning from 7:30 a.m. until sold out at Merrill’s Normal Park, 500 S. Center Ave. Residents and visitors can purchase farm and garden fresh fruits and vegetables and a whole lot more. From rhubarb to radishes, and corn to cucumbers, locally grown produce is available in season as it is ready and fresh picked.
But Merrill’s Farmers Market isn’t just about vegetables. Fresh flowers, plants, and even pumpkins are available for cooking or just making your home look beautiful, in-season.
Locally produced honey and maple syrup, handmade jams and jellies, homemade soaps, woodworking and other handcrafted products are also sold by local vendors.
