LINCOLN COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE REPORT

A 46-year-old Tomahawk woman was arrested on a felony charge of unauthorized use of identification to avoid penalty, and a warrant through the Wisconsin Department of Corrections, on Wednesday evening after a traffic stop. When asked for a driver’s license, the woman presented an identification card which was later learned to belong to someone else. She was also cited for driving without a driver’s license.
A 54-year-old Tomahawk man was arrested Friday evening on charges of computer message-threaten/ injury or harm, disorderly conduct, and a probation violation after sending threatening text messages to an individual.
A 34-year-old Tomahawk man was arrested shortly after midnight Sunday morning for a first offense operating while intoxicated, following a crash on Nokomis Dr. in the Town of Bradley.
Five people reported striking deer last week. A Wausau man struck an eagle while traveling on US Hwy. 51 last Tuesday evening. The incident was reported just after 8:30 p.m. near County Rd. S. The bird was killed in the collision.
