On May 19, 2021, at their weekly, noon meeting at Ballyhoos, the Merrill Area Kiwanis Club contributed $4,000 to The River Bend Trail fundraiser. The fundraiser is designed to help finance the “Lincoln Wood” extension to the trail. The funds will be used to help with the costs of paving, lights, fencing, and other amenities for the project.
