At 10:52 a.m. an officer was dispatched to a report of multiple vehicles that had their tires slashed. The investigation is ongoing.
06-01-2021
At 3:30 p.m. officers responded to a report of a driving complaint in reference to a vehicle being unable to maintain its lane, and almost striking someone on the side of the road. The vehicle was located and a traffic stop was conducted. The driver was found to be intoxicated and was arrested for OWI.
At 3:43 p.m. an officer responded to a local department store for a shoplifting complaint. The investigation is ongoing.
06-03-2021
At 8:38 p.m. officers responded to the 2000 block of E. Main Street in reference to a disorderly conduct complaint. Two individuals will have disorderly conduct charges sent to the District Attorney’s office in reference to the incident.
06-04-2021
At 7:32 a.m. an officer responded to a local gas station for a report of a gas skip. The driver was located and responded back to the gas station to pay for the gas.
At 11:08 a.m. an officer responded to the another local gas station for a report of a gas skip. The driver has yet to be located, and the investigation is ongoing. At 8:40 p.m. an officer responded to a residence for a harassment complaint. During the investigation it was determined that a male party had shown up at the residence and caused a disturbance with other parties at the residence. A charge of disorderly conduct was forwarded to the District Attorney’s office for review. 06-05-2021
At 1:34 p.m. an officer responded to a local grocery store for an animal complaint, in reference to a dog being left inside a vehicle. The windows of the vehicle were left open and the dog was found to be fine and not in distress. The driver/dog owner was warned to not leave his dog in the vehicle unattended in the heat.
06-06-2021
At 12:19 a.m. officers were dispatched to a local gas station for a burglar alarm. Officers arrived on scene and saw a male party quickly leaving the area on foot. Officers were able to locate the party near the gas station in the woods and detain him. A key holder to the gas station arrived and was able to look at security footage from the gas station. The footage showed the male attempting to break in through a window, a door, and damaging a security camera on the outside of the building. The male was arrested for attempted burglary, criminal damage to property, possession of marijuana, and bail jumping.
