Mark ‘Cub’ L. Bandle

Mark ‘Cub’ L. Bandle , age 65 of Merrill passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, May 25, 2021 at his home.  A Mass of Christian Burial for Cub will be held  on Friday, June 4th at 2 p.m. at St. Theresa Catholic Church in Theresa with the Rev. Fr. Tom Biersack. Visitation will be held on Friday, June 4th from 12 noon until 2 p.m. at the church in Theresa. Interment will be held at St. Theresa Memorial Gardens in Theresa.

Cub was born the son of Carl and Elizabeth (Steger) Bandle on October 29, 1955 in Fond du Lac. He attended Lomira High School. Cub worked for over 42 years on the railroad. He worked on the SOO Line, Wisconsin Central, Metra and Lake States Transportation, and retired from the Canadian National. He was a member of the Lincoln Gun Club and the Merrill Monday Night Pool League. In his spare time, Cub enjoyed the outdoors and loved to hunt, fish, trap shoot, and play golf. He also cherished the time spent at Rolling Stone Lake. Cub loved his family and friends and will be fondly remembered for his big heart.

Cub is survived by his daughters- Stacy (Jeff) Stremke of Kewaskum and Tracy (James Gocht) Bandle of Oshkosh. His grandchildren- Jordan, Brittany, and Faith Stremke, Lydia DeBauche, and Mason Bandle. His brother- Gary (Kari) Bandle of Theresa. Further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.  He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Carl ‘Bear’.
