Merrill Bluejays’ high scorers on May 4 against SPASH were Louis Blum with a perfect 25 and then three Varsity shooters who each scored a 24: Jase Glaze, Jordan Smukowski, and Cameron Stadler. Two JV shooters, Hollis Eternicka and Robert Hoff, also scored a perfect 25 on May 4. “Stand back, this week the Bluejay Trap Team is on the march,” Coach John Esser said.
Results are not yet in for the Week 6 competition score against SPASH, so the winner/loser has not yet been determined, as they are running a few weeks behind due to a late start to their trap season.
But so far, as of the end of Week 5 (even though all scores haven’t yet been entered for Week 6 and all of the SPASH scores are not yet entered), one Merrill Varsity shooter held onto his spot in the top five shooters for the Conference. Jordan Smukowski (117) is just 4 points away from the current leading scorer in the conference who has a score of 121.
