05-03-2021
At 1:07 a.m., an officer responded to a report of a male party shining a flashlight at drivers as they were driving past him. The officer located the suspect and advised him to stop shining the light as it could cause an accident. The male was warned for his actions.
At 8:23 p.m., officers responded to a report of a possible domestic disturbance. Officers arrived on scene and, during their investigation, they discovered that a male party had physically assaulted his girlfriend the night prior. The male party was arrested for domestic related battery and then transported to the Lincoln County Jail.

At 5:18 p.m., officers responded to a report of a structure fire. It was reported that the fire started in the basement of the residence. All parties and pets inside were able to be evacuated safely.

At 11:33 a.m., officers responded to the 300 block of Blaine St. for a report of suspicious male party acting odd. The caller advised the male party appeared to be on drugs and was digging in the dirt. Contact was made with the male party who was sent on his way.
At 1:50 p.m., an officer responded to the 300 block of N. Prospect St. for a report that someone appeared to have tried to steal a motor vehicle. This case is ongoing at this time.
At 2:07 p.m., an officer responded to report of a residence being entered and items being stolen from, in the 600 block of Genesee St. This investigation is ongoing.
At 6:04 p.m., an officer investigated a burglary in the 400 block of E. 4th St. The caller reported items missing from their garage and advised a cell phone was left behind by the possible offender. A suspect was identified through the phone left behind. This investigation is ongoing.
At 9:16 p.m., officers responded to a report of a hit and run that occurred in the 1100 block of Lake St. A parked vehicle was struck, causing significant damage. The offending vehicle fled the area after the crash. This investigation is ongoing.
05/06/2021
At 7:48 p.m., an officer located an ATV that was doing a “wheelie” as it traveled on E. Second St. The ATV was stopped, and the operator was cited for disorderly conduct with a motor vehicle and warned for equipment violations and operating on a non-designated ATV route.
05/07/2021
At 3:20 p.m., officers were called in regards to a driving complaint about a vehicle weaving in and out of oncoming traffic. Officers located the vehicle and determined the driver was tired and not impaired.
05/08/2021
At 12:15 a.m., officers were called to an area gas station in response to a female sleeping in a vehicle. Officers spoke with the female and determined the driver was tired and not impaired. The female was found to not have a valid driver’s license and was cited. The female called a valid driver to pick her up.
At 12:45 a.m., officers were called in response to a running vehicle parked in the middle of the roadway. Officers arrived and had contact with the driver and the passenger, who were both found to be highly intoxicated. The driver of the vehicle was arrested for operating under the influence.
At 11:27 a.m., officers were called to a residence in regards to someone entering three unlocked vehicles on the property and stealing money. Investigation is ongoing.
At 5:31 p.m., officers, were called to a business where a party was approached and asked if they were selling drugs. The party was found to be gone upon officer’s arrival. Investigation is ongoing.
At 8:26 p.m., officers were called to a residence where the resident had located video on their surveillance system of a party entering several unlocked vehicles on their property and stealing change. Investigation is ongoing.
05-09-2021
At 5:55 p.m., officers were called to a local motel for a report of a guest who was suspected of possibly using drugs. Officers made contact with the party and no indication of drug use was noted.
At 8:25 p.m., officers were called to a local motel for a report of an unruly guest who the hotel wanted removed. Contact was made with the guest who left the hotel without incident.
