Kate Goodrich kindergartener, Matthew Swan, was selected Student of the Week for the week of Mar. 25, 2021.
Son of Chris and Erin Swan, Matthew was nominated by Ms. Molly Schultz who said: “Matthew is a smart, kind, and caring kindergartener. He loves to help his friends and cheer them on while doing work in the classroom; he may even throw in a celebratory dance move. He loves school and always has a funny story to share to brighten your day. Keep up the great work, Matthew!”
Matthew said his favorite subject in school is “Gym because of the fun activities with Mr. Plautz.”
And he added a second favorite: “Math because it’s fun and you use your brain,” he said.
His favorite part of school is “Recess because we can have fun with our friends in the fresh air outside and do whatever we want.”
When he grows up, “I want to be a Police Officer, because they have awesome flashing lights and help people stay safe,” Matthew said.
