Trinity Lutheran School supports MAC Home

As part of Lutheran Schools Week, Trinity Lutheran School decided to introduce a coin challenge for the school and the congregation. They named the project: Cent to Serve. Kicking the challenge off on February 28, almost $100.00 was raised from two in-person church services. Staff set the goal of raising $300.00 throughout the week at school. A bulletin board showing pictures of the MAC Home and describing what the MAC Home does was prominently displayed near the school office for all students to see.
By Monday afternoon, students had donated almost $270.00 in coins! But the giving did not stop on Monday; it kept growing! By Friday, more than $1,000.00 in change was collected.
The grand total was $1,169.45 raised in just six days. “The MAC Home is eternally grateful for all the community support we receive on our continued mission,” said Theresa Anthoney, Executive Director of the MAC Home.
