Effective Monday, Mar. 1, at midnight, the Lincoln County Forestry, Land and Parks Department closed Lincoln County’s funded (County Administrated) snowmobile and winter ATV trails in Zones 2, 3, and 4 due to rapidly deteriorating trail conditions and water concerns. Zone 1 trails remain open for the time being, and those trails may be rough and icy in some areas.
All trails where winter ATV use is permitted, are closed to winter ATV use when the temperature is above 28 degrees F. Riders are advised to be aware of Trail Closed signs, stay on marked trails, and respect private land.
