Merrill PeeWees bring home first place, four years in a row

The Merrill Youth Hockey PeeWee A team competed on the ice in the Antigo PeeWee Tournament this past weekend and came away with the first place championship for the fourth year in a row.
Merrill PeeWees were initially defeated in their Friday night game against Marinette, losing to Marinette by a score of 8-2. Then on Saturday, the Merrill boys took the win 4-1 against Stevens Point. The championship game on Sunday had them facing off on the ice against the Marinette team again, and this time they beat Marinette 9-1 to take the win and bring home the championship for Merrill.
