Lokemoen is named Athlete of the Week

Trent Lokemoen

MHS Senior Trent Lokemoen has been named Athlete of the Week. Trent is a guard for the Merrill Boys Varsity Basketball team and has played Varsity for three years. During the Jan. 12 game against Marshfield, Trent put up the most points of the game, scoring 17 points, enabling the Bluejays to pull out a win with a final score of 57 to 55.  In his free time, he likes to hang out with friends, play poker with the guys, fish, hunt, and four-wheel.
Trent is the son of Tracey and Dan Lokemoen of Merrill. He maintains a 4.0 GPA and plans to attend UW-Madison or UW-Oshkosh where he will major in kinesiology and plans to pursue a career in biomechanics.
