Lincoln County Zones 2, 3, and 4 trails open Saturday, Feb. 6-UPDATED
The Lincoln County Forestry, Land and Parks Department announced this afternoon that Lincoln County’s funded snowmobile trails (County administered trails) in Zones 2, 3, and Zone 4 will open tomorrow morning, Saturday, Feb. 6, at 8:00 a.m. with one exception: Trail 39 north of Intersection #66 and Highway C to Zone 1 will remain
closed.
Zone 1 trails opened last week with the exception of the segments of Corridor 19 and Trail 86 that are south of Hwy. 86 and Corridor 17 south of the Park and Ridge at intersection #30. Thos sections of trail are still closed.
For trails where ATV use is allowed, the trails must be open to snowmobile use for 7 days pbefore ATVs may use the trails. That means Zones 2, 3, and 4 ATV trails will open Saturday morning, Feb. 13, at 8:00 a.m. However, all trails are closed to winter ATV use when the temperature reaches 28 degrees F or higher.

Trails are in early season condition and may be rough and icy in some areas. Be aware of Trail Closed signs, stay on marked trails only, and respect private land.
