February Frenzy:
• Adult Take & Make Kits are available beginning 1/28/2021. There is a limited supply. Call to reserve one for curbside pickup. The Wintry Kit includes a Beginner Weave Project filled with color and fiber.
• Tuesday, 2/2/2021 @ 7 p.m.: Chad Lewis is back with Wisconsin Lumberjack Legends and Lore! Join us online through Zoom @ 7 p.m. for an evening of all things Lumberjack. The link to the event will be made available to all interested on the library’s Facebook page and website. It is a live Zoom event you are sure to enjoy!
• Thursday, 2/11/2021 @ 7 p.m.: Music You Love … Live from the Library on Facebook Live. Join us for some lyrics of love and more online at Facebook Live with Steve Strassman, Jr., featuring Steve Strassman, Sr., and Andy Ament, members of Jimmy and the Javelins from the 60’s.
• Thursday, 2/25/2021 @ 6 p.m.: Great Scotty Bake-Off – Winter Wonder Style. Come one! Come all! For some virtual baking & decorating fun! Registration required for this event. Call the library for details.
• Watch for Tax Help dates in February and March. The Judicare legal team will be on hand to answer your tax questions. No tax preparation is provided. Call the library for dates and times to schedule an appointment.
Youth Services Department:
• Join us every other Wednesday on Facebook for Family Storytime. Enjoy a virtual Storytime with your Favorite Librarians on the T. B. Scott Free Library’s YouTube channel. The next Storytime will air Wednesday, January 27 @10 a.m.
• Family Storytime Activity Bags are a great way to extend the Storytime learning and fun at home. Each bag contains activities to enjoy with your 3 – 5-year-old child like playing, reading, singing, talking, and writing that promote early literacy development.
• Get your free Winter Project Pack at the T. B. Scott Library starting Monday, February 1. Project Packs offer youth ages 5 – 7, and their adults,an opportunity to create and engage in healthy activities along with conducting simple science projects (STEM). From snow painting, to going on an outdoor scavenger hunt, to making cookie cutter bird feeders, you will find many ideas for fun in the great outdoors. Come in to pick up your Pack or call 715-536-7191 to reserve your Pack today.
