PRMS student Casper Thao has been named Youth Optimist of the Month, for the month of December. Casper lives with his aunt Kia Thao and uncle Glenn Isaacson in Merrill. Thao was nominated by 8th grade literacy teacher, Mrs. Nelessen, who said: “Casper is a conscientious learner who puts forth his best effort in all of his work. Casper is respectful to both staff and other students. Casper is willing to help wherever needed. Casper is appreciated for his work ethic, positive attitude, and
integrity.”
Casper was named student of the quarter in 6th, 7th, and 8th grade. He plays basketball, and is creative and likes to do a variety of crafts. Casper said he loves to spend time with his family and helping his dad.
