01-19-21
At 3:49 p.m., a crash was reported in the roundabout. One vehicle failed to yield the right of way to another vehicle and a crash occurred. The offending driver was cited for failure to yield right of way, and a crash report was completed.

At 4:43 p.m., a convenience store reported a female had stolen lottery tickets after attempting to make purchases with a bad check. The female is know,n and officers will be attempting to locate her.

At 6:28 p.m., a caller reported she had struck a pole in a store parking lot after swerving to avoid crashing into another vehicle. A crash report was completed.

At 4:38 p.m., an officer responded to a hit-and-run crash involving a fence at a local business. The fence was reportedly hit by an unknown vehicle, causing approximately $1,000 worth of damage. The investigation is ongoing.

01-21-2021
At 8:04 a.m., an officer responded to a theft complaint in reference to a catalytic converter being cut off of a delivery truck. The investigation is ongoing.

At 11:09 a.m., officers responded to a report of a wanted person walking down the street from their residence. Officers located the party and the party was taken into custody.

At 8:09 p.m., officers responded to a disturbance where a male party had shown up at a residence and was being disorderly by yelling, swearing, and making threats to a female party. Officers arrived and, after their investigation, it was determined that the male party caused the disturbance. He was arrested on disorderly conduct charges as well as three counts of bail jumping.

At 8:52 a.m., a caller reported a package was stolen from a common area inside their duplex. A possible suspect was named and further investigation is forthcoming.

At 5:27 p.m., a hotel reported suspected drug activity occurring in one of their rooms. A search warrant was obtained and executed on the room. Drug paraphernalia and methamphetamine were located. A female was arrested for maintaining a drug trafficking dwelling, felony bail jumping, and possession of methamphetamine. A male was arrested for maintaining a drug trafficking dwelling, felony bail jumping, and probation violation.

At 10:20 a.m., a caller reported unauthorized activity on her debit card account. Investigation is ongoing.

At 7:49 p.m., a caller requested a welfare check on a female due to her being extremely intoxicated. Officers made contact with the woman who was heavily intoxicated. It was found she had four open felony bonds, two of which mandate absolute sobriety. The woman was arrested for bail jumping.

At 11:50 a.m., a caller reported someone had attempted to break into their shed at some point. The person was not able to gain entry, but some minor damage was caused.

At 3:23 p.m., a landlord reported he discovered someone was residing in an apartment that was supposed to be vacant. The female claimed she had lived there for two months and the government was paying her rent. The landlord stated he had been at the property two weeks prior and cleaned the apartment and nobody was living there. The downstairs tenant reported the female had moved in earlier this week. The female was arrested for trespassing.

At 8:28 p.m., a caller requested a welfare check on his daughter. He reported she was intoxicated and was looking for her vehicle keys. He was en route from another city to secure her vehicle keys. Prior to officers’ arrival, the daughter had located the keys and departed. She was located at a convenience store purchasing more alcoholic beverages. She was found to be intoxicated and was arrested for operating while intoxicated (4th offense).
