On the last day of the year, Brickners Park City Inc. achieved a never-before-reached milestone. After 32 years of doing business in Merrill, they sold their 1,000th vehicle in a calender year. To celebrate, Jim and Maria Brickner, owners of Brickners Park City, gathered up $1,000 in gift certificates from 22 local businesses in town and awarded them to Kathy and Mike Neuman of Merrill who picked up a new Jeep at 9:00 a.m. on the last day of the year.
“Merrill has been a wonderful place to operate a business and raise a family,” said Jim Brickner, “and we truly appreciate the tremendous support from the Merrill and surrounding communities.”
“We also are celebrating our Resident Automobile Technician Harvey Thomaschefsky’s 40th anniversary of working for Bloechls and Brickners Park City,” Brickner said. “There is no way we could ever get to 1,000 vehicles sold in a year without the dedicated efforts of all of our 48 employees and the loyalty of our huge customer base.”
