Park City promotes Schreiber, Achterberg

On Monday, Dec. 21, Park City Credit Union announced the promotion of Janet Schreiber to Executive Vice President of Human Resources and Administration and Shawn Achterberg to Chief Financial Officer.

Schreiber has been with the credit union since 2001. She is responsible for the oversight and execution of the strategies to attract, develop, reward and retain outstanding employees. This includes workforce planning, payroll and benefits, talent management andorganizational culture. Under Schreiber’s leadership Park City Credit Union continues to be a top employer in the market focused on employee growth and development as well as ensuring that Park City Credit Union is a fun place to work with a commitment to a positive culture.

Shawn Achterberg

Achterberg joined Park City in 2018. He is responsible for planning and managing the accounting and financial reporting systems for the credit union. In addition to preparing financial analysis, he ensures all financial transactions are reported accurately, timely and in compliance with regulations. This includes providing oversight on investment strategies and evaluating the safety and soundness of Park City’s financial condition, including capital, asset quality, earnings, liquidity and risk. Achterberg also oversees the Risk Management areas of the organization.
