Krueger named Athlete of the Week

MHS Senior Courtney Krueger has already proven to be a formidable threat for the Bluejay varsity girls basketball team this season; turning in a powerhouse 31-point performance in the team’s 52-48 win over Crandon, on Monday Nov. 30.
A three-year varsity starter at Point Guard, Courtney is also a two-year member of the Bluejay varsity softball team as a pitcher and shortstop.
Aside from sports, Courtney is very involved in various school activities such as FCA (Fellowship of Christian Athletes), National Honor Society and LEAD group.
In her free time, Courtney enjoys spending time with friends and family and her family’s pets.
Daughter of Fran and Hugh Krueger of Merill, Courtney currently maintains a 3.9 GPA.
Following graduation in the spring, Courtney plans to attend a 4-year university, majoring in Physical Education and she aspires to continue playing basketball at the collegiate level.
