Margaret Lu Taylor
Margaret Lu Taylor, age 94, passed away on Saturday, November 28, 2020, at Pine Crest Nursing Home in Merrill. She was the only child born to Vern & Thelma (Van Gordan) Farrar on September 14, 1926, in Janesville, WI. Despite being an only child, she had many cousins in Mercer, WI whom she considered her siblings. Margaret grew up helping out in her father’s bakeries in various towns throughout Wisconsin. It was from this experience she became an accomplished baker and gourmet cook, often hosting beautiful dinner parties for friends and family. Margaret was artistic and had an eye for detail and color. She excelled at interior design and was very proud of her home. Margaret had positions in the service industry over the years, working as a Retail Store Manager, Home Health Aide/CNA and Waitress. She had a generous heart and provided for many family and friends when in need. Most importantly, Margaret loved her family and was much loved in return.
