Lincoln County 4-H Leaders Association Board Youth Representative

The Lincoln County 4-H Leaders Association would like to thank the Merrill community for your generous donations of cans for the 4-H Cans for Kids fundraiser we held this summer and fall. The money from the can drive will be used to provide funding for the trips, scholarships, and other county activities.
We would like to thank Jeanne Schmidt and her family for helping to organize the collection events, the Yates and Duley families for the use of the livestock trailers to transport the cans. A very big thank you goes to Elite Carriers for the use of a semi at the fall collection and the driver who drove the truck from the collection site to the drop off site. Without all of you it would not have been as successful.
With that in thought, we would like to say the fundraiser was a success. We would like to encourage the families and businesses in the Lincoln County communities to continue to save their cans. We will host another Cans for Kids collect in the spring of 2021 and would love to see you there. If you have any questions about the collections, please contact the University Wisconsin Division of Extension – Lincoln County Office at 715-539-1072.
