Barbara Jean Truelove, 70, of Lebanon Missouri, passed away on November 15th, 2020. Born in Merrill, WI on March 13th, 1950 to John and Shirley Hoock, Barb was part of a large family with 1 sister and 6 brothers. In 1980, she moved to Lebanon, MO where she began a long career at Marathon electric, now known as Regal Beloit. On November 2nd of 1984, she married Don Truelove. The couple shared their lives together until his passing on October 27th, 2010. Barb had a strong faith and attended St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church for many years. She enjoyed spending time with her family, friends and dogs – she loved them all fiercely. She also enjoyed hanging out in her hot tub, even on the hottest of days, and cheering on her favorite football team, the Green Bay Packers. In recent years, she was loving being retired and working part time as a home health care worker.
Barb is preceded in death by her parents John and Shirley Hoock, her husband, Don Truelove, 1 brother, Gerald Hoock, 2 stepchildren, Craig Truelove and Rita Truelove. She is survived by her daughter, Kristina Massey (Greg), 1 grandson, Kyle Massey, 1 stepson, Steve Truelove, 1 stepdaughter, Donna Dixon (Bob), 1 sister, JoAnn Atkinson (Dan), 5 brothers, Michael Hoock (Sarah), Dan Hoock, Patrick Hoock (Norma), Robert Hoock (Edie), John Hoock, and sister-in-law, Lori Hoock.
Barb was a loving and generous mother, nana, sister and friend. She was loved by many and will be missed. Services will be at a later date.
