Jefferson Elementary third grader Hailey Boyd has been named Student of the Week, for the week of Monday, Oct. 26. Daughter of Zachary and Ashley Boyd, Hailey was nominated by teacher Mrs. Golisch.
“Hailey is very helpful and caring,” Mrs. Golisch explains. “She is easy to get along with. She works very hard in school on her work, even when it is challenging. She doesn’t give up easily and will ask for help when needed. She brightens the room with her smile every day. “
As Hailey explains, her favorite subject in school is Math; “I love math because multiplication and division are fun!”
Hailey’s favorite part of school is music; “Because we learn songs and I love to sing!”
Someday, Hailey would like to become a race car driver; “Because my uncle does it and I want to win a trophy!”
