10-12-2020
At 3:35 p.m a female was arrested for a probation violation at the request of the Wisconsin Department of Corrections.
At 8:23 p.m an officer conducted a traffic stop for a stop sign violation. The driver displayed characteristics indicative of intoxication. The driver agreed to perform field sobriety tests and as a result was arrested for operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated.

10-13-2020
At 10:15 a.m a bank reported receiving a counterfeit bill from a business. Investigation is ongoing.
At 4:40 p.m a caller reported catching three youths in his vehicle. Nothing was reported missing. Officers located the youths and made contact with their respective parents to advise them of their children’s actions.
At 8:30pm, an officer observed a vehicle leaving the stop lights on Pine Ridge Ave accelerating causing a large plume of black smoke to emit from the exhaust. The vehicle was also speeding. The driver was cited for disorderly conduct with a motor vehicle.

10-14-2020
At 5:04 a.m, the K-9 officer was requested to assist Lincoln County Sheriffs Deputies with a traffic stop. The K-9 Eros was utilized to conduct a sniff of the vehicle and located an odor. The car was searched and illegal items were located. The items that were located were seized by deputies and the driver will be summonsed to court.

10-16-2020
At 7:30 p.m officers were dispatched to what was initially reported to be a hit and run crash involving a vehicle vs. bicyclist. After speaking to the bicyclist it was found the motorist had stopped following the crash but departed after the bicyclist claimed he was uninjured. It was found the crash occurred as the bicyclist did not have functioning brakes and was unable to stop before entering an intersection where the crash occurred. Further investigation is forthcoming.

10-17-2020
At 2:40 a.m a caller reported she was at her friend’s house watching his dog while he is currently incarcerated. Two people arrived claiming they also reside at the residence. She did not know who they were. One of the individuals was found to have a warrant for his arrest through the Wisconsin Department of Corrections and he was arrested for that warrant. Contact was made with the homeowner at the Oneida County jail and he stated he did not know the other individual but stated she could stay there if she wished. The dog-sitter was not comfortable with this as nobody knew the female and she had a young child at the residence with her as well. The female made arrangements for someone to pick her up.

10-18-2020
At 1:05 a.m an officer stopped a vehicle for a stop sign violation and speeding. The eighteen-year-old passenger was found to have been consuming intoxicants and was cited for underage drinking. The driver was cited for failure to stop at a stop sign and warned for speeding.
At 6:16 p.m a caller reported he had observed a group of four juveniles remove a pumpkin from his neighbor’s yard and walk off with it. The group was located and one youth admitted to smashing the pumpkin. The young man agreed to apologize to the pumpkin owner which he did. His father was advised of the incident and his son was turned over to him.
