Merrill Area Community Rides (M.A.C.R), is now accepting applications for 2021 support recipients.
Applications are available by contacting MACR via Facebook using key words; “Ride Merrill” or emailing the organization at [email protected].
Applications for support from MACR must meet the following criteria to be considered:
1) Qualifying nominees must be a non-profit organization or private party/family located in the Irma, Gleason or Merrill areas. Services provided by nominated non-profit organizations must be focused in these areas as well.
2) Nominators may remain anonymous from public announcement, but applications must be signed with complete contact information for both nominators and nominees.
2) Complete information must be provided for at least three references
M.A.C.R supports selected recipients via three annual fundraising events every February, June and September. Application deadline is Wednesday, Oct. 21. Applications can be mailed to P.O Box 99, Merrill, emailed or submitted via Facebook. For more information on MACR, visit https://www.facebook.com/RideMerrill. Applications will be screened during MACR’s regular monthly meeting on Thursday, Oct 22, and selected recipients will be announced Friday, Oct. 23. M.A.C.R supports 3-6 recipients annually, as part of their three annual fundraising events.
Since its foundation in 2017, MACR has raised over $15,000 in support of individuals, families and non-profit organizations in the Merrill area.
