Paul Proulx has resigned from the MAPS Board of Education, according to a press release issued earlier this week by board president Kevin Blake.
“Paul Proulx, board member of the Merrill Area Public Schools,has announced that he will step down from his role effective immediately. I would like to sincerely thank Mr. Proulx for his outstanding service to our school district and the entire Merrill area community,” said Blake. “We wish Proulx the very best in his future endeavors.”
The Board will meet on August 12, 2020 at a Special Board meeting to determine the process for filling the vacancy created by Proulx. His current term was scheduled to end in 2023.
