July Summer Fun Project Packs now available

Looking for some fun ways to connect and have fun together as a family this summer? Why not pick up a July “Summer Fun Project Pack” for your family. The packs are filled with youth-family educational activities including mental health, nutrition, STEM, craft and reading activities along with supplies to complete the activities. Finding ways to connect and have fun together can help youth and families manage stress and enjoy the summer months.
Families can pick up a free “Summer Fun Project Pack” from one of three options below:
• In Merrill, contact T.B. Scott Library via phone 715-536-7191 to make an appointment to pick up a pack.
• In Tomahawk, contact the Tomahawk Library to make a curbside appointment by phone 715-453-2455, M-F 1:00 pm-5:00 pm
• The “Project Packs” are also being included in Kinship of Tomahawk food distribution bags, but any Kinship family who would like to reserve a pack can contact Patti at 715-966-0996.

The “Summer Fun Project Packs” are being funded by Ascension Good Samaritan Hospital and Ascension Sacred Heart Hospital. Healthy Minds Coalition is partnering with Kinship of Tomahawk, T.B. Scott Library, Tomahawk Library and the UW-Madison Division of Extension 4-H program to create a new pack for each month this summer. The August pack will be available in early August.
