League of Women Voters provides online candidate guides on Vote411
To provide Wisconsin voters with essential information about the upcoming Partisan Primary on August 11, the League of Women Voters of the Northwoods (LWVNOW) will publish the Fall Primary Voter Guide on VOTE411.org on July 13. Those visiting the site can type in their address and see information about the candidates on their ballot and compare their answers to the League’s questions.
The August 11th Primary will narrow the field of candidates running for Florence County District Attorney and Vilas County Register of Deeds.
State races for the U.S. House of Representatives, State Senate, and State Assembly have already been published by the League of Women Voters of Wisconsin. The Presidential voter guide will be published by the League of Women Voters of the U.S.
With limited opportunities to learn about the candidates in person, online voter guides on Vote411 are especially important for voters making their plans to vote during the pandemic. VOTE411.org is a “one-stop-shop” for election information providing simple, easy tools to help Wisconsin voters navigate the voting process. VOTE411.org provides candidate information, a voter registration tool, polling place information, and other helpful election information for all voters nationwide.
Look for the LWVNOW’s Fall Election Voter Guide on September 11, 2020. It will cover the candidates running for County Clerk, District Attorney, Register of Deeds, and Treasurer in Florence, Forest, Langlade, Lincoln, Oneida, and Vilas counties, as well as the Vilas County Surveyor.
We encourage all voters to make their plans to vote and consider voting absentee in the August 11 and November 3 elections. VOTE411.org is an excellent resource to help voters make a voting plan so they are prepared to cast their vote confidently whether they choose to vote absentee prior to the election or in-person on election day.
