The WJMT Radio “Hometown Concert for The Cause” received over $11,300 of donations in support of area food pantries.
On May 8, 2020, the three hour broadcast on Bluejay 96.3 featured a variety of pre-recorded performances from local singers and groups, middle school and high school students, the city band, and songs from some of Merrill’s most popular rock ‘n roll and country bands from the 60’s and 70’s.
Proceeds were distributed between the Trinity Church Food Pantry, Community Food Pantry of Merrill, Food for Kids and New Testament Church Food Pantry.
