The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a fatal motor vehicle crash that was discovered Saturday afternoon, April 18, in the Town of Wilson.
According to a press release from the sheriff’s office on Sunday morning, April 19, at 2:30 p.m Saturday afternoon, a passerby reported finding a vehicle that had left the roadway and crashed near the intersection of US Hwy 8 at County Rd CC. When deputies arrived, they found two males who both were pronounced dead on the scene by Lincoln County Coroner Paul C. Proulx. Further information will be released later today as family notifications are still taking place.
