MHS Junior Jake Zelinski was a second-year member of the Bluejay varsity Boys Basketball team this past season, as a small forward. Zelinski is also a three-year member of the Bluejay trap shooting team and intends to compete on the varsity track team this spring.
Aside from sports, Jake has been a member of the MHS LEAD group for the last three years and enjoys outdoors activities such as fishing and hunting in his free-time.
Son of Andy and Krista Zelinski of Merrill, Jake currently maintains a 3.4 GPA.
Following graduation in the spring of 2022, Jake plans on attending either UW-Green Bay or UW-Stout, majoring in Mechanical Engineering.
