Merrill High School junior Peyton Becker is a three-year member of the Bluejay varsity baseball team as
a short stop. Becker has been a big part of the Bluejay squad during his first two seasons. Having been a
varsity starter since his freshman year, he earned honorable mention All-Wisconsin Valley Conference
honors last season as a sophomore.
Although he’s not involved in any extracurricular activities, Becker explained he would like to join the Big Brothers Big Sisters program and Link Crew. On his free time Becker likes to spend time outdoors and hunt.
Son of Jolie and Daniel Becker of Merrill, Peyton currently maintains a 3.5 GPA. Following graduation
in the spring of 2021, Becker plans to attend a college where he can continue his baseball career.
