MAPS teacher earns National Board Certification

Amy Raddatz, a MAPS teacher for the last 14 years, recently earned National Board Certification.
National Board Certification is considered the “gold standard” of the teaching profession. The mission of the National Board is to advance the quality of teaching and learning. Ms. Raddatz has met the high and rigorous standards for what accomplished teachers should know and be able to do, and has successfully completed the national assessment which certifies teachers who have met these standards.
“Becoming National Board Certified is one of the highest honors earned by a teacher,” said Dr. John Sample, MAPS Superintendent. “She is an elite teacher and we are very proud of Amy’s ongoing accomplishments.”
Amy Raddatz has achieved leadership qualities that are highly respected and valued throughout MAPS and at the state and national level.
