Prairie River Middle School’s (PRMS) Musician of the Month of March is Bridger Lemmons.
Bridger is the son of Farrah Lemmon (Steven Beckman) and Chris Lemmon of Merrill.
“Steady pulse, complex rhythmic patterns, and varying tempos are all components that are required to create the heartbeat of the band.” said PRMS band staff. “At PRMS in the 8th grade band, we are very lucky to have a great percussion section filled with students who work well together to create that heartbeat. This month we are featuring one of those percussionists, Bridger Lemmons, as the Prairie River Middle Schools Musician of the Month for March. Bridger’s meticulous practice on both the drums and mallets can be heard during class rehearsals, which makes it easier for the rest of the students to follow the music. Bridger’s extra work, practice, and perseverance recently paid off when he earned a first rating at the WSMA District solo/ensemble event for his mallet solo. Congratulations Bridger, we are proud of you!”
