Northwoods Film Festival to return in July

The Northwoods Film Festival (NWFF) has announced that the 2020 edition will take place on Friday, July 31 and Saturday, August 1, at the Lakeland Cinema in Woodruff, Wisconsin.
Over the course of two days, the annual 501(c)3 nonprofit festival will provide groundbreaking and engaging independent programming to local audiences in Northern Wisconsin. Programming for the festival will be announced in the coming months with tickets on sale shortly afterwards.
The inaugural lineup in 2019 included Neon’s Wild Rose, directed by Tom Harper and Lionsgate; Roadside Attractions’ Juliet Naked, directed by Jesse Peretz; along with the 2019 Academy Award-shortlisted documentaries The Biggest Little Farm, directed by John Chester from Neon and Sony Pictures Classics’ Maiden directed by Alex Holmes.
