Health in Motion cuts ribbon at Merrill location

Health in Motion officially opened their new location in Merrill on Jan. 3. Merrill Area Chamber of Commerce ambassadors joined Health in Motion employees on Thursday afternoon, Feb. 6, for the ribbon cutting of their new location at Riverside Athletic Club, 500 South Center Ave.
According to Health in Motion CEO Tim Thorsen, he began this business 25-years ago in his hometown of Rhinelander and now has eight locations around central Wisconsin including: Rhinelander, Tomahawk, Eagle River, Crandon, Wausau, Marshfield, Merrill and Antigo.
Health in Motion is Therapist owned physical therapy business that treats movement problems and pain by using people’s own body’s ability to heal itself and uses skilled hands on techniques to ease pain and improve movement. Health in Motion also offers a free pain assesment for those who are in pain and aren’t sure on the appropriate next step. While walk-ins are welcome, Health in Motion Doctor of Physical Therapy, Ben Solheim explains scheduling an appointment is a more productive use of everyones time and an easier way to ensure timely service.
Health in Motion’s Merrill location is open on Mondays and Wednesdays from 8 a.m. – 5 p.m., however according to Solheim, they do plan on opening full time within the next couple months due to their rapid growth in the area.
