Kate Goodrich Elementary third grader Raiyna Perez has been selected Student of the Week, for the week of January 6.
Daughter of Emmanuel and Rachel Perez of Merrill, Raiyna was nominated by teachers Mrs. Goeden, Mrs. Zocher, & Mrs. Jeffers; “Raiyna comes to school every day with a smile and a positive attitude and she works hard all the time. Raiyna is a part of both the Kate Goodrich Delta Art and Delta Music classes, which is a testament to her incredible work ethic. Outside of academics, she demonstrates our PBIS character traits (honest, respectful, kind, responsible, safe, fair, trustworthy, and humble) in all areas. She is a wonderful part of our Kate Goodrich family.”
As Raiyna explains, her favorite part of school is lunch; “Because I love eating.” Raiyna names reading as her favorite subject in school; “Because I enjoy it a lot!”
Someday, Raiyna would like to become a teacher; “Because I enjoy school.”
