Merrill High School senior and three year forward on the Merrill varsity Basketball team, Piersen Pyan has been a crucial piece for the Bluejay boy’s early season success, averaging 12.5 points per game.
In his sophomore season on the Merrill varsity baseball team Pyan earned second team All-Wisconsin Valley Conference as an outfielder. Pyan has also been a two year starter at linebacker and tight end on the Merrill varsity football team. Outside of sports Pyan stays involved at school, participating in FCA and Choir. On his free time he enjoys hanging out with friends and family and praising God.
The son of Tammy and Bob Pyan of Merrill, Piersen maintains a 3.0 GPA. Following graduation in the spring Pyan plans to attend UW-Whitewater, where he will continue his baseball career.
