On the evening of Friday, Jan. 10, from 5-8 p.m. the Friends of the River Bend Trail will host a snowshoe/hike event.
According to a press release from the Friends of the River Bend Trail, participants are welcome to hike on the plowed trail or snowshoe on the side of the trail, and detour onto the candlelit Thirvent Trail and loop near the bridge. The route goes from the Weinbrenner Outlet Store to the Agra Pavilion. Participants can start their hike from either location. The route is 1.5 miles round trip.
Participants are then welcome to warm up inside the Agra Pavilion with a campfire, coffee and hot chocolate. Wine tasting will be available courtesy of Sunset Hollow Ranch.
