Merrill Sheet Metal Works, a Merrill, Wisconsin based heating and cooling contractor, and Bryant Heating & Cooling Systems teamed up to honor a local Community Hero who does “whatever it takes” to make a positive impact in their community. This Hero demonstrates how a person with passion and determination can use their time and energy to make a difference in the lives of others.
We are pleased to announce that David Szeto from Merrill, Wisconsin has been named the 2019 Bryant Community Hero winner from our area! To show our appreciation, David received a new Bryant high efficiency gas furnace for his home, which was installed by Merrill Sheet Metal Works on December 20.
David was nominated by his wife Frances of Merrill, Wisconsin. In her nomination, Frances said, “David has continued to say “yes” in every way he’s been asked to serve the community. He is pastor of St. John Lutheran Church, often working 14-hour days, visiting the members of the church who are sick or dying. He recently agreed to be the chaplain for our fire department and has begun spending time building relationships with the members of the fire department. He is a husband and father of 3 young children, and he loves teaching them about Batman and comic books and Star Wars. David works hard to meet the needs of anyone he knows.”
