The Community Service Committee of the Fraternal Order of Eagles Merrill Auxiliary #584, recently donated eight Christmas gift bags filled with items for adult clients and residents of HAVEN (Household Abuse Victims Emergency Network) plus Christmas stockings with gifts for their children. The donation included handmade fabric wallets for each adult and handmade pillowcases for the children. Presenting the donation were the officers of the Auxiliary, pictured here with HAVEN staff. Many thanks are extended from HAVEN to the Auxiliary committee members for these thoughtful and generous gifts that will brighten the Christmas season for our clients. HAVEN serves those who experience relationship abuse and violence by providing them with advocacy, resources, and temporary shelter when needed.
