A donation campaign continues in support of a local family, following a catastrophic house fire which occurred last Friday morning, Dec. 20, on Schultz Spur Road, in the Town of Merrill.
Donation drop off points are located at J&B Enterprises (N1110 Co Rd K, Merrill) and St. Vincent De Paul (1004 E Main St, Merrill).

“When tragedy strikes, the Merrill community bands together to help each other,” explains J&B Enterprises owner Bill Wayda.
“That’s the way way it’s always been. But this time it was my family that was affected, and I can’t begin to say  how much we appreciate all the support. This is a great community.”
As SVDP employee Debi Christie explains, the outpour of community support on Saturday, Dec, 21, resulted in two “car loads” of clothing being delivered to the displaced family members.

The following donations are being accepted:  Donated clothing items are asked to be in new or gently used condition.
